Waiting on the corner, watching all the cars go by...

I know that title is not how the song goes, but this gentleman was not watching the girls go by, he was looking for his spouse, who he had last seen, I think, across the street in the Spanish Springs town square where people were dancing up a storm and Happy Hour (2 for 1 drinks) was underway.

His wait was rewarded. After a few minutes, he spied her, waved, and ran across the street where I'd like to say he swept her into his arms, but he didn't do that; he just smiled and nodded and they went off with another couple.

Awe I see a typical married couple comfortable in probably a 20 plus year relationship. Heart warming indeed.

Bautiful colours in that photo. I like how you speculate. :)

Given his expression, I was expecting something more dramatic, but I like the happy end.

Beautiful photo with the sun and Palm trees! More golf carts or cars in "The Villages?!"

Something about his pose says he's done this before .. nicely captured!

Dodging the golf carts can be tricky, too, so he's smart to wait. 2 for 1 drinks? In The Villages? Now they are learning how to market the place.

Hi Asta. Yes, it's a golf cart, or, as they call them in The Villages, a golf car!

Just about everybody has one and downtown is filled with them...in the various residential areas, there are special golf car paths and most homes have golf car garages built in...
