Get your hair cut here!
In Spanish Springs there is a barber/stylist anxious to get your business. I'm surprised the shop was allowed to put their sign on the sidewalk. Seems a bit like littering and could cause loitering!
The prices seem reasonable. But why does it cost more to cut a woman's hair than to cut a man's hair? Something is wrong with that picture. And what meaneth the word, "beauty"? Maybe the women get a hair cut and a beauty treatment?

Not much hair left and most of the times I cut it myself, but prices seem reasonable and we have to solve the 'beauty' mystery...
Regrettably, women have more hair than men.
"Beauty Walk Ins"? There is something sexist gouing on but as long as guys pay less Im happy.
Jacob,
I noticed you left a comment on my blog, and so I came over here to look at your photography.
I really enjoyed the sites, particularly this one, which I thought was really evocative of the two towns, and made them seem very appealing.
My guess is that the "beauty" refers to doing things other than cutting hair - highlights, perms, colourings...and perhaps they do some other things as well, such as manicures and facials? Dunno. Just a thought.
Here in Washington it's actually legal to take up sidewalk space with signs and displays than to hang them out of the way on a lamp post or telephone pole. Found that out last weekend when a friend and I had a visit from the police during our yard sale. They brought all of our posted signs back to us with a smile and a spiel about city code. Who knew?
Is not fair - why ladies have to pay more, but I like this sign:)
Greetings.
Bald bad boys bring burly barbers brisker barbering bucks business!
@ Safe Leif - Excellent alliteration. Is it anything personal? Where does it hurt?
@ Becky - Sheesh! You'd think the coppers would have better things to do!
@ Green Eagle - Perhaps you could send me a blank e-mail so I can respond properly...?
Thanks.
I thought the Villages was upper crust and haircuts for women would probably be at least $65. Maybe all the retirees got bit by Madoff and can't afford more that $13.
@ Antjas...you are exactly right! These are ridiculously low prices and I don't understand why!
