The Van Patten House - Spanish Springs

The Van Patten House in Spanish Springs houses a restaurant...proper attire is required. No shoes, no shirt means no service - you don't get in! But, if they won't let you in, you can sit and look at the cool reflections, like the cross on the church on the square.

As I get older, I realize that I appreciate rules about proper attire more and more. What college kids wear to school nowadays makes me cringe. :p

Lovely sign and cool reflections!

That is a very neat picture-reflections and all. Proper attire--I like that. I suppose one has to know how to hold a fork properly too. Good idea for some. MB

I miss the days when you had to properly dress to go out to dinner. Yes, very cool reflections!

World's best French kisser? LOL, wouldn't you like to know!

I think it's a traditional and elegant restaurant, if you need to be formal dressed to get in.
Beautiful window and lovely reflections!
