Euro Footwear
I'm not sure what makes footwear "euro," but they've got it in Lake Sumter Landing! The footwear looks expensive, though!

October. Evening. The waterfront. Lake Sumter Landing.
We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Because we will be busy celebrating this fine fall holiday, blogging and commenting will be sporadic.

Someone became ill...
...in a Lake Sumter Landing restaurant. The emergency vehicles were called. The person was attended to. Neither the nature of the illness/injury nor the result were known.
Life goes on in paradise.

House off Market Square in Lake Sumter Landing?
This looks like a house. But so far as I can tell, nobody lives there. It is one of a number of similar-looking buildings in downtown Lake Sumter Landing, which together comprise a huge furniture store and The Villages Sales Center for LSL.

The patriot...
...or not. A question for Veteran's Day: Does patriotism consist of waving the flag or plastering your vehicles with decals? If not, what constitutes true patriotism in any country?
Another, related question: In these tumultuous times, as the world grows smaller and we realize as never before we are all of one race, the human race, and that we depend upon each other for survival, can we justify pride of country that in any way denigrates other countries?

The Bait Shack - Lake Sumter Landing
This is one of two such places located on Market Square in Lake Sumter Landing where you can buy alcoholic and other drinks to enjoy while listening to live music or just sitting and watching the sunset. "Happy Hour," I believe, is between 5 and 6 pm, and during that time you get two drinks for the price of one.

A fence surrounds this canal in Lake Sumer Landing...
...to keep people from falling into the water and being eaten by alligators. That might be an exaggeration...
