It's nice to have a friend who's wide awake

This poor anhinga was all alone on the boat...or so he thought...

And then his little friend came to life!

It was very foggy this morning in Lake Sumter Landing...so, naturally, we'll be posting a number of "foggy" pictures in the days ahead...

Love them! Makes me smile, just thinking about the gull squaking and the anhinga not knowing it is there..well, you get the picture.

What a couple of super shots. I didn't even notice the gull in the first shot. Hilarious!! MB

Both beautiful images, but my favorite is the second one, They definitely highjacked that boat and are struggling to steer it....
Keep them coming, Jacob.

They seem to be waiting for someone to row them out!

They don't look like they will intermarry.

These are just great. No one can match the alertness of a bird looking for a bite to eat.

Nice scene. Love the little boat just floating along.

Beautiful shot: I like the second,
those two seem to wife and husband
married for many years ...
