Two outdoor bars await your pleasure at both downtown squares - Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing. Drinks are two for one from 5 to 7 every night.
I love the title of your post! And of course I like the photo - ech your bright and gentle southern light! You should see light here those days! Greetings:)
If that were here, it would be a coffee place... and those men would be wearing jackets and hats! But still shorts. Because guys here always wear shorts, even when it's cold.
Damn. Just as it begins to getting really chilly in CT you have to show this? I love outdoor dining...and drinking... so why do I live in New England? ;o)
@ Patricia - Well, it sounds like you are almost ready for a Florida vacation! You'd probably like The Villages. New England is nice. It's just a little cooler than Florida in the winter.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. It's much appreciated. I'm going to be spending some time on your blogs, too. We love Paris and I love you Paris blog...you might check out Paree (see sidebar) for more Paris shots...
The Villages is one of the fastest-growing retirement communities in the United States.
Located in Central Florida, about an hour's drive northwest of Orlando, the Villages is now home to some 150,000 residents, many of which travel the area via golf cart.
There are now three "home towns" in The Villages, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Music and dancing is provided nightly in the town squares of each of the home towns.
The Villages is a beautiful community and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos showcasing its many charms.

Do they serve Linie Aquavit which we Minnesota Viking types enjoy?!
I see they actually got an 'uniform' there...

Did you stay to see the 'live entertainment' and have a dance or two? MB
@ Small City - We always stay for awhile and occasionally we even dance!
@ Safe Leif - I wouldn't doubt it; there are a lot of old, crazy, loony Minnesotans in The Villages.
I've had a couple of beers from here and a slice of pizza from nearby. Very relaxing. Thanks for capturing the scene.

Hmmm any red wine? (Oh the clichés... ;-))
