Happy Hour at the square

Both the Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing hometowns provide outdoor bars for residents who gather in the evenings to listen to music and dance in the town squares. These bars are very busy during "Happy Hour" which usually consists of several hours during which time two drinks can be purchased for the price of one.

This particular bar is located at the Lake Sumter Landing town square.

This man in blue shirt matches perfectly the light blue shadows of the bar! Very nice and quiet scene and trees are beautiful:)

I like this slice of life a lot. Is that "bait ale"??

Anyone ever get a DWI while driving a golf cart?

Except for the signs in English and American flags, this picture could have been taken in Brazil. The "happy hour" practice is quite widespread here as well.

@ Jim - I haven't heard of that in The Villages, but I have heard of people getting DWI's on horseback...

@ CQ - No, it's Bait Pile. Don't ask.
