Cozco Handcrafts - Spanish Springs
If you wish to divest yourself of some hard-earned cash in return for handcrafted items, some supposedly from Peru, enter here. The Villages offers a variety of shopping experiences.
Sharp-eyed observers will note we posted a photo of the top of this building a couple of weeks ago. We thought it appropriate to also show a picture of the bottom. Every decent building should have a bottom as well as a top.

It's a beautiful buillding, I love the blue shades on woodworks. And Jacob, what a lovey bench - could go well with my collection:)
And a cozy front door atmosphere.
They have wonderful handicrafts in Peru, so I would enter there. Besides, the façade invite us to go inside.
Oh I would love to browse that shop, I never met a tschka I didnt want to buy
"Supposedly from Peru" was an interesting remark. Could it be that it's made in China? These days everything is made in China, even one out of every 5 humans...
God bless you!
Cezar
@ Cezar - You're probably right about China...although at least some of their goods are supposed to be handmade in Cozco.
Twenty percent of the world's population is in China...that's staggering, isn't it?
This sounds familiar! ;-) I really wonder why the Cuzco became Cozco... Oh, look there's a sale going on! Are you going to show us the inside, too?
@ cieldequimper - I have consulted my better judgment and was told not to show you the inside; it would be too tempting and ultimately too expensive...(especially if the store has a website). I would not want to be anyone's financial downfall... ;-))
should be Cuzco if it's from Peru...lol
@ Weston DP - You're right, of course. It's some sort of play on words, but they sell Peruvian handcrafts...
I love shopping in places like that, not that I usually buy anything, but it's always fun to look! I like the colors in your photo. About the fishing boat in Astoria, it's a part of the River Walk I don't go past very often. I think I've seen a few other boats there at times, but it's not a place that fills up. Maybe "Capt. Raleigh" owns the whole thing. I will definitely be paying attention next time I'm there. East and West Mooring Basin both get very full unless the fish are biting.
Well... you could post a huge disclaimer! :-)
