The new "hometown" of The Villages, Brownwood, is coming along nicely with a lot of new construction. We will be visiting it again in the near future and bring you a series of updated photos.
A news article yesterday stated that The Villages is the fastest-growing municipal area in the United States.
Just what we need! Yikes.

I often think it is a shame that it's considered a 'success' to have the biggest or fastest growing developments. The charm you wanted when you moved there will be lost.
I couldn't agree more with Hamilton, as you well know. It does look nice though, what on earth is that? A baby racetrack? A mini stadium?
Looks like civic pride is in operation here.
Sounds a bit like Perth Lowell, we are the fastest growing city in Oz now and wondering the same thing.. Is it good or not, are you happy about it?
