Terrific shot and I love palm trees. too! JM has been a blogging friend of mine as well for sometime! It's fun to discover our mutual blogging friends, isn't it? Hope things are going well!
Have a good weekend!

Thank you for this one, Lowell! It's a beautiful palm tree and the sky is fantastic. Great shot!

Have I told you about the plague? Well, there's this Asian beetle (I have no idea what it looks like) that feeds on the interior of the palm tree trunks. There already are hundreds, maybe thousands of dead palm trees all over central and southern Portugal. Just from my house I can see three and a bit further there are seven dead in a row. It's awful! Biologists are desperately trying to fight the beetle but it's not an easy task. When you find something is wrong, the palm tree is already dead although the leaves are not yet brown. Sad. Fortunatelly it seems the beetle likes one species only which happens to be the most common, so other species might be safe.

I read about the beetle plague JM mentioned above, dreadful! Let's hope this magnificent palm here never suffers this fate Lowell. A very happy Easter to you both..

Nice composition! Beautiful sky!

I can't tell the difference among palm trees. SC is alive with Palmettos and you'd get scalped alive if you called them palms!
