If you are wandering about Spanish Springs and have a craving for ice cream and would prefer people not see you indulging that craving, you may enter Kilwin's through the back door and enjoy chocolates, fudge, and ice cream in private!
I like the natural light in this photo (mid-afternoon?). And I'm really intrigued by the wrought iron and terra cotta tiles on the little cover above the door.
Wonderful. Nice wall, nice letters and an inviting front.
Thank you for your comments and your following question: "...can you tell me what "offebacher madche" means? It seems to be a German phrase... " I think it means "girl from Offenbach". Offenbach is "a city in Hesse, Germany, located on southside of the river Main just next to Frankfurt am Main." There is spoken the Hessian dialect.
IT's a beautiful facade for sure, and that texture on the wall I imagine it's a modern concept.Anyway I need to stop thinking about chocolate, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee! Léia
The Villages is one of the fastest-growing retirement communities in the United States.
Located in Central Florida, about an hour's drive northwest of Orlando, the Villages is now home to some 150,000 residents, many of which travel the area via golf cart.
There are now three "home towns" in The Villages, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Music and dancing is provided nightly in the town squares of each of the home towns.
The Villages is a beautiful community and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos showcasing its many charms.

So now we know what you do incognito.
That's a lovely façade and an even prettier door!
