Oscar's Bait & Tackle, which doesn't exist, is actually part of the building housing Haagen Dazs Ice Cream in Lake Sumter Landing. Cute, though, right?
I suddenly got a strong wish for ice cream, even with the rain/sunshine/nearly stormy wether we have here just now. Interesting shots..... but has it been raining ??
The Villages is one of the fastest-growing retirement communities in the United States.
Located in Central Florida, about an hour's drive northwest of Orlando, the Villages is now home to some 150,000 residents, many of which travel the area via golf cart.
There are now three "home towns" in The Villages, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Music and dancing is provided nightly in the town squares of each of the home towns.
The Villages is a beautiful community and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos showcasing its many charms.

Oh man, I'm glad you explained. I thought they were selling worms and crawdads along with (or maybe in) the ice cream. Whew!! MB
I'll have a fish ice-cream then, shall I?
Thunderstorms here, yayaayayaya! I really like the way the floor is wet on your photo, I dunno it just adds a lot to the photo.
I didn't go to the wedding but happened to walk into the church in the middle of it...
Sure got me fooled! I just thought the bait shop was selling ice cream too. But now that I think of it, that's kind of yuck. ;)
I love this place and the folly behind the scheme...
Very confusing...looks like a bait and switch to me!
I'm puzzled by the "which doesn't exist" part...
God bless you!
Cezar
And I thought I might have found a new bait to try....
