Don't you love these birds. This is a marvelous photo of one. The colors are great and you can actually see the bird. Ours always run away the minute they see us. That would be fly.

Beautiful heron and setting. These graceful birds are so regal in their posture and movements. Walking or flying they are a sight to see.

I notice you use a lot of HDR. Are you using software to create hdr effect? (Topaz for example?)

@ Don Marchand. Actually, I don't use any HDR. I do "fix" the photos in Photoshop and a bit in Lightroom, but that's all.
