Down to the boardwalk - Lake Sumter Landing

As you can see, this part of Lake Sumter Landing's boardwalk consists of concrete blocks...but it only lasts for a little while...the great majority is wood. It is a wonderful thing to walk down these steps on a balmy evening and meander about with nothing better to do that snap a few photographs.

Wonderfully composed, a first look at the picture itself made me see the it from bottom to top i.e. Stairs to the lake. I feel when a composition leads your eyes from a point towards the subject in a linear manner, the photograph has to be termed as a wonderful composition! :-)

Sometimes in our lives, we think of finishing one step of the way, but nothing came to one end or purpose, we must learn and walk a little more in other waters!
This photo today reminds me a feeling.
Feeling to persevere for our objectives.

Beautiful! :)

What a life! Love your pictures, Jacob, and thanks for being such a loyal visitor to my blog. My visits have been sketchy lately due to family matters such as flu, a broken water pipe and an upcoming wedding! Hope to get back in step with the blogs soon!

It's good that they have chains down there at the water's edge so a klutz like you doesn't fall in! Phew!

@ Rambling Round...thank you! Your life sounds a lot like my life at the moment...if it ain't one thing it's another...sheesh!

I keep telling myself to hang in there, things could get worse, but every time I do that, sure as heck things get worse!

Nah, just kidding...after the storm comes the calm...

Well, if I were there I'd definitely want my trusty camera along with me!

Is there any wine in the barrel? ;-) It would be lovely to sip a glass of red wine watching the sun go down. Ugh, I forget, you're probably not allowed to in your part of the world!

@ Ciel - are you kidding! Just across from the boardwalk on the square are two outdoor bars which sell all kinds of alcoholic beverages and between 5 and 7 pm, it's two-for-one...so come visit, and I'll buy you a glass of your favorite whatever and we'll all go sit on the boardwalk and watch the sun set!
