Perspective rules here and the effect is very good. And I love turrets... My compliments to Lois Anne.

I love the colors of this street. And the sun glow too. MB

Yellow main street! Lovely! How do you manage photos with never a passer by?

Lowell said...

@ Ciel - The same way you do. I saw your last photo of Versailles...I don't think there was one, single, solitary soul anywhere...or was there? Hmmm... :-)

So much details on the right side of this photo! Great perspective indeed.

Hi Lois Anne, It looks like a wonderfully relaxing place to be. I love the yellow, which seems to fill the air as well as color the buildings.

This street looks so bright and cheerful. I bet it's very popular with northerners down south for the winter.

Yes... there were people... hidden. I will admit that I shot those photos of the sculpture exhibition after work on Friday because I knew in the evening the main flow of tourists would have ebbed away. The downside of course is that the colour of the sculpture, a quite vivid violet, didn't come out as nicely as if it had been broad daylight.

@ Ceil - Well, I think you did well...and it often happens that "broad daylight" washes away all color leaving you with a contrasty B&W effect...
