Harp concert at Spanish Springs Church on the Square

The other evening as we were wandering about Spanish Springs, a country band was playing in the square, people were dancing and everyone was having a good time.

We came upon the Church on the Square. Lois Anne wanted to take some exterior pictures, so I thought I'd go inside and grab some shots of the nave and altar areas. To my surprise, I found a harp concert in progress.

As I quietly entered the nave through a side door, the change was dramatic - from loud country music to the soft strains of a harp playing "Stardust."

This is what it looked like.

Impressive building.
I like it when there are lots of LIGHT in church rooms.
I like "the lines"/composition too, in your photograph.

I really like the inside of this church with the harpist playing. I'm amazed by the strange change in genre of music you witnessed!

You'd have found me and my husband in here for this concert. No country music for us, thanks.

This is such a lovely and bright church!

that must have been cool - to go from country to harp thru a doorway

I love the way you capture light!!

I would have stayed inside too! :-) The church is so different to the (modern) catholic churches around here!

Seems a beautiful church and unusual for me -
here in Italy the churches are old and almost always dark!
This internal instead it is spectacular and I imagine very nice listen to music!
Beautiful shot!
