We've posted evening/night photos of the ever-sinking ship previously. This is what it looks like mid-morning. It will probably never really sink. Remember, this is Disneyland for adults!
Beaucoup de charme ce bateau. C'est incroyable comme vos obtenez des photos très nettes. Est ce la lumiére naturel ou un réglage de votre appareil photo.
@ Robert - You're seeing the natural light. I made a big mistake here, and had the camera set to "flash" white balance, so actually I had to darken the photos a bit to get the correct exposure.
The Villages is one of the fastest-growing retirement communities in the United States.
Located in Central Florida, about an hour's drive northwest of Orlando, the Villages is now home to some 150,000 residents, many of which travel the area via golf cart.
There are now three "home towns" in The Villages, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Music and dancing is provided nightly in the town squares of each of the home towns.
The Villages is a beautiful community and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos showcasing its many charms.

How do you get your photos so bright? It's not just the black background. I love how light and yet not washed out they are.
Love the first image with the perfectly specular eflection. Is it really possible they did it on purpose?

The reflection in the first shot is truly amazing.
Wow! Luminous. Wonderful photographs.
I still think you and Lois should jump in your canoe and go bail them out!
@ Safe Leif - You're right. We should do that. And we would except our canoe sank!
@ VP - Yes, of course. That's what they do! It's very effective, though...right?
It makes such an unusual reflection being half sunk. Disneyland for adults? Haha! I thought that was East Gwillimbury. ;-)
What an amazing catch! The reflection is so perfect!!!
@ Asta - It gives the place a certain panache, or "authenticity." Disneyland for adults!

The reflection is absolutely amazing! Both images are beautiful!
These are gorgeous, and the subject is fantastic. Oh for a slowly sinking boat near here! Excellent photos Jacob.
We've got several of these along the Danube and Sava rivers here...
I'll bite, so why is this boat 'sinking'?
@ Daryl - Because those who run The Villages want it that way! :-)
Beautiful photographs for a Drama Series ...
Poor boat
:-D
