These open air markets are held frequently in both downtowns - Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing. This one was in Lake Sumter Landing. Wares for sale include all kinds of trinkets, household items, sporting goods, watches, glassware, etc.
Wow...when I first saw this before scrolling down, I thought it was a pencil sketch. Then I kept scrolling and saw that it was just an extremely sharp b/w image. I think this works wonderfully in b/w! Good choice! And the market sounds very fun.
The Villages is one of the fastest-growing retirement communities in the United States.
Located in Central Florida, about an hour's drive northwest of Orlando, the Villages is now home to some 150,000 residents, many of which travel the area via golf cart.
There are now three "home towns" in The Villages, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Music and dancing is provided nightly in the town squares of each of the home towns.
The Villages is a beautiful community and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos showcasing its many charms.

Usually these places are a photographer's paradise. I like the people and the wares, shoot many photos and buy nothing.

I'm with VP except that I can't help buying SOMEthing. Question of gender I suppose.
Looks like a great place both for shopping and for meeting for a nice chat! I like it's black and white:)
Excellent monochrome!
