La Reina

In Spanish Springs, this building, La Reina (The Queen) was the sales and information office where one would go if interested in purchasing a home in The Villages. The sales office has now moved to another building and La Reina is used for other purposes. There is an excellent restaurant on the ground floor.

Hello Jacob!
I loved the architecture reminding me "Mexican style" maybe (?) and there are golf cars like a nice detail in this picture!
I hope they should keep the restaurant on the ground floor.

You know I like the patios, so I would be right there on the ground floor watching people.

Is this really an old Spanish style building or is it a new building styled to look old? Either way its a great photo

Very pretty. It looks like a hotel.

@ Daryl - Everything in The Villages is relatively new...many things in The Villages are styled to look old. The Villages, a wonderful a place as it is, is Disneyland for adults 55 or over!

It's a beautiful building, I love the colours and the style. There is something I couldn't find in my cold part of the world!

La reine... in French! Is the food regal? It's a lovely building! Have you toyed with the yellow a little?

@ Ciel - Hi! Yup. I had the camera on the "vivid" setting. Works pretty good, heh?
