Beautiful shot Lois Anne! I bet this dog wants to go inside the store! :-) I would like to go inside! Did you buy anything different? :-) Be happy always dear friend! Léia
Funny that, I was just saying on Fort Lauderdale DP that I needed to change my career plan. Now I see that The Villages had the same idea. Is that an omen? ;-)
The Villages is one of the fastest-growing retirement communities in the United States.
Located in Central Florida, about an hour's drive northwest of Orlando, the Villages is now home to some 150,000 residents, many of which travel the area via golf cart.
There are now three "home towns" in The Villages, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Music and dancing is provided nightly in the town squares of each of the home towns.
The Villages is a beautiful community and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos showcasing its many charms.

Dog-theme day today... If I have to judge from the exterior this has to be a very nice shop.
I like the little dog shimmying on in.
I would love to do shopping in this area. What a lovely place again! And the name is so cute:)
I like that dog on the surf board.
Looks like a fun place to go shopping! Show us a picture of the "Martin Luther's cats on Main" store! Bow wow! Ruff ruff
I bet Haley likes this place a lot
@ Daryl - Yes...well, she's not been in it, but she would definitely like it...they've got all kinds of stuff for dogs and cats!
Beautiful shot Lois Anne!

This seems to be a great spot with a lovely hanging sign.
This store actually had numerous cat items, too, plus a huge black cat sleeping on some of the merchandise...
Animals were welcome so long as they were well-behaved.
I think a lot of stores should rather put up a sign that children are welcome so long as they are well-behaved...
This is such a nice looking store and building. It must be an expensive place to shop. I am glad that they allow animals.
Thanks for all for your comments; I think it's wonderful that you stop and look at my blogs!
Abe, everything in Lake Sumter Landing is somewhat pricey, but not exorbitantly so...and items on sale can be had quite reasonably...
