Chair to nowhere

It's at the rear of the Barnes and Noble bookstore, this chair. It overlooks a small canal and parking lot. You can sit in it, but why? It seems to have no purpose other than decoration. In the second photo, I redecorated it a bit - changing the color photo to a color sketch.

It creates really nice decoration anyway! Lovely chair and the photo is superb with the reflection! I like the sketch as well. Have a great weekend:)

Wohoo, now those photos are modern art. Sorry, I prefer the first one, I love the reflection (lovely clouds) and the chair is one I would like for home!

I think I might sit in it and read, unless it's hot out :( Speaking of which, we do get some sun in Astoria in summer, but I remember more than one drizzly and very gray 4th of July (and other summer days). I'll be paying more attention this year since I'm taking photos every day. I didn't like the Goonies movie myself. I finally watched part of it for the locations, but I couldn't last the whole film. It amazes me how many people really love it and can't wait to see the landmarks. To each his own, for sure!

I hope you got my comment. The site doesn't like my browser. I think it said you would read and post when approved, but I'm not sure. It disappeared quickly.

@ Tapirgal - Yes, the comment came through, but a bit late - my fault. Computers are funny animals, for sure!

Hope it's sunny today for you.
