Hey, I often see you on Riga Daily Photo. Have You ever seen the author revealing himself? There's never any respond to comments, commenting back or thanking you for the award you guys gave that site. I wonder if they even read comments. Pretty irritating. I get the need for being anonymous and all but a simple nick would do, right?
@Koala...I guess we haven't given it much thought...we're in this to have a good time and share out photos and enjoy the privilege of looking at all the other great photos out on CDP.
At the same time, it is nice to get a comment on two along the way.
I feel like bloggers are a community and so communicating is a part of blogging and there's some etiquette. Of course there's no need to react every time but totally ignoring readers/viewers is a bit harsh. So I shared my thoughts with You thinking you're a bit irritated too. Sorry for spoiling the fun then.
The Villages is one of the fastest-growing retirement communities in the United States.
Located in Central Florida, about an hour's drive northwest of Orlando, the Villages is now home to some 150,000 residents, many of which travel the area via golf cart.
There are now three "home towns" in The Villages, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. Music and dancing is provided nightly in the town squares of each of the home towns.
The Villages is a beautiful community and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos showcasing its many charms.

@Tricia - it's about "time" someone asked if it worked.
Nice entrance and wonderful old clock, makes you want to go in to the park.
@Koala...you didn't spoil the fun and have raised an important issue...it is a two-way street...but some folks have more time than others, too.
I suppose if I comment on a blog and after a while there is absolutely no response, I'd probably let that particular blog go...
I do appreciate your coming by and you sharing your insight and feelings.
Very nice! Love that clock.
