The Veranda Restaurant is located in the The Villages Sumter Landing Hometown, across from the town square. One can dine inside in very upscale surroundings, or outside on the veranda. We have yet to eat there, probably because of the upscale prices.

I can imagine a really nice romantic supper out in the verandah!
The Veranda only serves breakfast and lunch and is only open until about 3pm. The prices are not bad and the food is excellent. It's a wonderful place to eat lunch while watching the "passing parade" of villagers in their golf cars.
The Veranda is now open until 8 PM for dinner! The same menu and nightly specials! I work there and it is a great place for a relaxing dinner! Come on down and see us!!

We ate at the veranda last May and the food was excellent,service great and the prices were very reasonable.
Looking forward to this May.
