Some of you may be old enough to remember the singer, Johnny Ray. One of his biggest hits was the song, "The Little White Cloud That Cried." Here is a video of Johnny Ray singing what became his signature song. It was one of my favorite songs at the time - 1951!

Hi Lowell, love this photo! As far as the song goes, even though I am not old enough to per se remember it, (I was born in 1956), you know how much I love music older than myself, especially the early 1900's to 1940's. This is one that I haven't heard before, but I must say I really love it! Thanks so much for sharing. They just don't make music like this anymore!

I remember that song too. Of course only because my big sister told me about it. Haha!!! Well I was only 11 at the time and now I am 37. Say What??? MB
ReplyDeleteThats quite a big, little white cloud Lowell! Johnny Ray is a wee bit before my 'interest in music' time, but I'm sure I would have been a fan , he had a brilliant voice, thanks I enjoyed a lot.
