Love the top photo; wonderful motion and flight patterns. The bottom photo dismays me...as a former lake dweller, I heartily dislike gulls and think unkind thoughts of folks who feed them as the birds spread their droppings all over. I don't look look kindly upon either birds or those who give them food.
We used to go to Lake Loch Loma out W Hwy just north of Poplar Bluff & feed the ducks on the pond there... they're such a hoot to watch, fighting over the bread pieces! =)
Cool shot of the lucky birds! ;-) I'd never seen white Ibis before, and didn't know they are ok with gulls. Last week I posted a Scarlet Ibis shot: http://numflashdesegundo.blogspot.com/2011/10/scarlet-ibis.html
Seems to be lunchtime before the afternoon lectures, lol!
ReplyDeleteThey look very happy! Amazing motion in these pictures and the place is beautiful, so peaceful and wonderful sunny day there!
