I love Barnes and Noble. there is a huge one by the university of washington with a coffee shop and even an upstairs. I love books and could stay all day. MB
This photo looks terrific posterized. The colors are so vivid. I know they are an endangered species but I just love bookstores and go between used book shops, to Barnes and Noble to Borders with some frequency. The trick is to not buy another book. Not even ONE....good luck with that.
@ Frank - I took this last Saturday evening...and would you believe, I wandered about B&N for some time and didn't buy one single book? Not one! That has to be a first for me!
I find myself sitting with a coffee very often and quick-reading salient passages of a book I think I'm interested in. You're right, I buy actual books less often then I did in the past. (Where, oh where, would we put them??!!)
@ Frank - That's the question! I actually had to rid myself of a bunch of books in this move...broke my heart, sort of. But I've run out of room here and the new place will have even less room. So...
Cool effect, Jacob, almost like it's glowing! Niiice!
I've often thought about what our kids and grand kids will have to go through when they 'look back' on our Old Family Photos - That's definitely gonna be completely different than the way we do it now. At least the photos will be in better shape than the actual discolored pictures we look at now - like being preserved! LoL!

ReplyDeletePffft, VP got in before me as usual. I don't care for Bocelli either but I usually spend half a day in Barnes & Noble. Love the effect!
